I am currently a Doctoral Candidate in the Public Policy Area at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. My research primarily focuses on Political Economy, Ethnic Politics, and Historical Sociology, with secondary interests in Education Policy and Policy Evaluation.
I hold a Master’s degree in Local Governance and Development from the RG National Institute of Youth Development, Chennai, and a B.Tech. in Rubber and Plastics Technology from Anna University, Chennai. Prior to my PhD, I served as an Academic Associate at IIM Indore and a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at IIM Bangalore.
I possess advanced skills in STATA, Python, LATEX, and QGIS. My research contributions have been recognized with several honours, including the L.K. Deshpande Young Labour Economist Award by the Indian Society of Labour Economics (ISLE) and the Adani Indology Research Scholar Award.
I will be visiting the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER) in Helsinki, Finland, from September to November 2025 as part of the UNU-WIDER Visiting PhD Fellowship Programme.
