I am an Assistant Professor in the Economics & Development Studies area at Indian Institute of Management Udaipur. I received my Ph.D. in Public Policy from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and was a Visiting Fellow at the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER), Helsinki.

My research focuses on the political economy of development, with particular emphasis on spatial inequality, local governance, and social mobility. Using large-scale administrative and survey data, I apply quasi-experimental and measurement-based approaches to study how social structures and institutions shape access to public goods, economic opportunity, and well-being.
